The first temple that we did thirupani and performed kumbabhishekham was Gurulinga Swamigal Jeeva Samadhi temple located in Saidapet, Chennai.
We have been visiting the Samadhi Shrine of Sri Gurulinga Swamigal for the past 10 – 15 years and we have been meditating there and we have had many spiritual experiences. Our Guru states “that even after meditating for such a long period of time the Life History of Gurulinga Swamigal remains a mystery. All that we know from word of mouth is that He came from Virudhachalam and attained Samadhi at Saidapet. Swami has somehow managed to lock the secrets of his Life History.” However Our Guru states that Swami comes out of his Samadhi many times and the indication can clearly be felt. We ourselves have felt the presence of Swamiji lingering over us many times. Also Our Guru states that the Utsava(Idol of Swami) is very expressive and He changes his expression all the time and He is very Lively. At the time of Gurupooja the Swami is in Full bloom and comes out for a procession around Saidapet. At that time clearly Swami comes out of his Samadhi and blesses all the people in Saidapet. With the help of Mahan Sri Gurulinga Swamigal Our Master cured hundreds of people affected by evil spirits. In that process Our master had cleansed the evil spirit of its bad deeds and shown the way for a purer birth thereby leading to salvation.

She looked after the Jeeva Samadhi temple for more than 50 years and lived only for sake of Swamiji. She cared only for the temple and not for Her. She is also like a God mother to us. When she used to sing Thiruvarutpa in front of Swamiji any person will melt before the Swami for some time. Before our Master visited Swamiji she had no other livelihood apart from maintaining the temple and many times without any money she had conducted pooja for the swami. We were surprised to see that Swamiji obeyed to Her commands all the time. This is a classic example for “When a person is in total devotion, He/She gets connected to the swami like Meera or Andal”. Many times Swamiji Descends on Her and talks to us/ commands us to do many things to which we respond immediately. For us We see Ayah as a physical embodiment of Swamiji. Recently on Thursday, March 2, 2006 Ayah attained Mahasamadhi at 9:40 PM. She also entered the world on a Friday of August,1919 and was laid on Samadhi on the Friday.
Her another name was Velliammal. She had no children. Only we all were like children to her. Due to Government regulations Her Samadhi could not be laid beside Swamiji. Hence we have constructed her Samadhi on the Burial grounds. We managed to obtain permission from the Government to construct Her Samadhi just 3 feet away from the Samadhi temple of Nirathisaianandar which is separately outside the burial ground. Just a wall separates Her Samadhi from Nirathisaianandar. In this case we have not constructed a temple over her Samadhi and we need financial support. Those who are willing can contribute towards the spiritual cause.
