Aathman Awareness Centre (AAC)
Aathman Awareness Centre (AAC) is a non-profit, universal spiritual organisation founded in 2002 by our beloved Guruji to help seekers connect deeply with truth and awareness. Guruji is a living example that self-realisation and enlightenment are possible through devotion and dedication, even while leading a normal family life.
The objective of this portal is to serve as a gateway for spiritual seekers to connect with His Holiness Guruji Sundar and move forward on the path of self-realisation. To support this, His Holiness is establishing spiritual centres across India—not only to spread awareness and inner transformation, but also to act as nurturing spaces and guidance centres for seekers on the path of enlightenment.
This platform is a window through which any seeker of truth can approach a self-realised, enlightened master and have their doubts clarified. The purpose of the Aathman Awareness Centre is to evolve into a spiritual university, where people from across the world can experience self-realisation, regardless of their religious or spiritual background.
While paths may differ initially, they eventually converge—where Guruji’s presence and guidance help seekers progress towards inner awakening and enlightenment. Out of his boundless compassion, Guruji has designed select spiritual courses where seekers are guided step by step on their journey towards self-realisation, awareness, and inner peace.
Guruji conducts regular spiritual satsangs at AAC centres across India. New aspirants can participate in these satsangs after proper initiation through AAC, which helps accelerate their spiritual growth. All participants who have learned meditation at AAC are welcome to join the weekend inner gatherings, where they can clarify their doubts directly with Guruji and deepen their inner awareness

Our Mission & Vision
At Aathman Awareness Centre (AAC), our vision is to revive, preserve, and spread the deeper spiritual significance of Jeeva Samadhis and holy temples, guiding seekers towards self-realisation, awareness, and higher consciousness.
We aim to help people understand the importance of meditating at sacred Jeeva Samadhi temples, where the powerful spiritual energy of realised saints can accelerate inner awakening and spiritual growth.
Our mission includes:
-
Bringing awareness about the true significance of Jeeva Samadhis and sacred temples in India
-
Renovation and preservation of 108 Jeeva Samadhi temples
-
Establishment of 108 Shivalingam pradishtai for saints whose samadhis have been lost over time
-
Enabling as many seekers as possible to attain self-realisation and spiritual awakening
-
Making AAC a one-stop global platform and database of spiritual knowledge for seekers of truth
-
Creating guidance around the “Book of Death” — understanding the process of death with awareness and ease
-
Eliminating social and cultural taboos surrounding death and dying
-
Sharing deeper spiritual insights and methods to hasten spiritual progress
In addition, AAC envisions building a holistic spiritual ecosystem that supports both inner and outer well-being:
-
Establishment of ashrams with a strong mulasthanam to support householders (grihastas) on the spiritual path
-
Hospitals run by spiritually inclined doctors across allopathy, homoeopathy, Siddha, and Ayurveda
-
Providing free medical support for underprivileged communities
-
Schools and colleges guided by spiritually aware individuals
-
Daily annadanam (food offering) as a service to humanity
-
Helping individuals lead a stress-free life by nurturing both physical health and mental clarity
-
Spreading awareness about astral beings and Astral Attachment (A Square)
-
Encouraging harmonious living in alignment with nature
The objective of this portal is to bring the profound significance of Jeeva Samadhis to the world. When a seeker (sadhaka) meditates at a Jeeva Samadhi temple, the spiritual energy of the realised saint present there can deeply influence the seeker’s inner system, uplifting consciousness and significantly accelerating the journey towards enlightenment. This has been the core vision of our beloved Guruji Sundaramurthy Swamigal since his enlightenment.
AAC was among the first spiritual organisations to highlight the importance of Jeeva Samadhis in India. Attaining Jeeva Samadhi is considered one of the highest spiritual attainments, where a realised master consciously enters the Samadhi state with the physical body to continue guiding seekers.
India uniquely preserves this sacred tradition, where temples have been built over Jeeva Samadhis for the benefit of humanity. These are timeless spiritual monuments that must be protected, preserved, and revered.
However, many of these sacred sites are currently neglected and not maintained with the reverence they deserve. As a result, humanity continues to face imbalance and suffering. We believe that through proper worship, preservation, and awareness of Jeeva Samadhis, humanity can once again experience spiritual blossoming, harmony, and lasting inner peace.
